Shake Shack Has Free Burgers Every Day Through Christmas Eve

Shake Shack is getting into the gifting spirit for the holidays.

From Monday, Dec. 16, through Tuesday, Dec. 24, customers can score free burgers daily from the fast food spot. Each of the nine days brings a different freebie, which can be redeemed with a minimum purchase of $10.

Beloved Shake Shack options like the SmokeShack are part of the free offerings — limited-time options like the Black Truffle Burger are up for grabs, too.

On the first day of the deal (Dec. 16), customers can get a free ShackBurger, followed by a free SmokeShack on Tuesday, Dec. 17, and a free avocado bacon burger on Wednesday, Dec. 18. On Thursday, Dec. 19, guests can get a cheeseburger for free. A free black truffle burger will be available on Friday, Dec. 20.

As people amp up to snag their last-minute gifts, they can get a free bacon cheeseburger on Saturday, Dec. 21, or an avocado bacon burger freebie on Sunday, Dec. 22.

The next day, Christmas Eve Eve, fans can score a free SmokeShack again, and on Christmas Eve Tuesday, Dec. 24, there is another free ShackBurger.

Fans can redeem the deal using the promo code BURGERBLITZ on the restaurant’s app and in stores nationwide.

In other Shake Shack news, the burgers are going to new heights—literally! Delta has partnered with the burger chain to offer cheeseburgers to first-class passengers.

Shake Shack cheeseburgers started appearing on Delta flights on Dec. 1., beginning exclusively with flights out of Boston, but with plans to expand to "other U.S. markets throughout 2025," according to a press release. Besides the caveat that the burgers are only available to first-class flyers, the menu item is only available "on routes over 900 miles."

Wendy's has its own holiday-inspired deals this week.

The chain restaurant is offering daily buy one, get one free deals — aptly called "Bow-GO" — through Dec. 22. The discounted items rotate every day and range from biscuit egg sandwiches to Saucy Nuggs. Wendy's customers can get the deal exclusively through the fast food chain's app.

Wendy's app has another daily deal: $4 Spicy Chicken Sandwiches. Customers can grab one discounted hot menu item every day through Dec. 29.

The Spicy Chicken Sandwich features spicy breaded chicken, lettuce, and tomato on a mayonnaise-coated bun. It can cost upwards of $7 without the discount.
