If you’re looking for a Halloween costume that combines American politics with just a touch of exposed midriff and under-boob, look no further.

There’s now a sexy Melania Trump costume that literally no one asked for.

Yandy.com has debuted what they’re calling “The Model Wife” costume, a skin-tight take on the classic Ralph Lauren outfit worn by the first lady to the 2017 inauguration. For a cool £53, you can scowl through any Halloween party while surrounded by Trump look-a-likes and pregnant Kylie Jenners. Terrifying.

This offering is the latest in a long list of ridiculous costumes marketed to women. While men fulfill their childhood fantasies and dress up as Iron Man or firefighters, women continue to be sold skin-bearing equivalents. Sweet!

Yes, women can choose to dress as a sexy police officer on October 31, but scour the racks of any party store or online shop and you’d be hard pressed to find an alternative to booty shorts, body suits, and low-cut costumes for women.

The problem isn’t that there are revealing costume options, it’s the belief that everything can and should be sexy on Halloween night.
