Sewing Bee's Annie shares stunning hand-stitched Christmas decorations
Annie Phillips, former winner of The Great British Sewing Bee, has been getting us in the Christmas sprit with these stunning hand-stitched Christmas tree decorations.
Annie, who won the 2022 series of the sewing show, shared a video of her making the Christmas crafts on Instagram after having a "cosy creative session".
Using a soft felt fabric in a range of pastel colours, Annie created decorations including a star, a Christmas tree, a candy cane, a sweet gingerbread man and the letter J. She embellished her festive makes with stitching and beading.
Annie captioned the post: "Who’s getting festive and putting up the Christmas tree this weekend? I’m all about a Christmas crafternoon – making DIY decorations and a cozy creative session to get into the holiday spirit! Who’s in for some crafting magic?"
She also adds on the video "This is your sign to have a Christmas crafternoon."
Fans were quick to praise the decorations:"ah love these!" says @samiorenelda, "So cute!!!" says @alisejane_daily and "lovvv this idea" added @patriciallacer.diy.
It's not the first time Annie has inspired us with her sewing projects. Take a look at her cute knitted bonnet, stylish cow-print shirt jacket and beautiful handmade dress.
