How did that happen? You’ve barely taken down the last of your Christmas decorations and Easter is just around the corner – five weeks away, to be precise.

This year the Easter weekend falls from Friday March 29 to Monday April 1, and many (but not all) schools in the UK will enjoy an Easter break in the fortnight that follows.

There is no guarantee of good weather here in the UK: average highs are 12C in March and 15C in April and rain is, well, we all know about that. So the only rational option, if hoping for a dose of vitamin D in early spring, is to look farther afield. We have combed the best holiday companies to find their sunniest packages still with availability.
