Nothing says Easter like copious amounts of chocolate, which is why this seven (eight if you count the extra chocolate!) ingredient Mini Egg Cheesecake is practically screaming to be made over Bank Holiday weekend.

Created by Jane's Patisserie, the minimum-faff cheesecake combines a biscuit base with a creamy cheesecake speckled (wahey) with Cadbury Mini Eggs, topped with chocolate drizzle and cream, and scattered with more Mini Egg halves.

We need this in and around our mouths as a matter of urgency. So creamy. So Instagrammble. So delicious.

Sharing the recipe on her blog, Jane says of the Mini Egg cheesecake, "The digestives in the base gives a perfect biscuit crunch, and marries so well with the flavour of the cheesecake, along with chunks of Mini Egg in every mouthful. A vanilla creamy cheesecake filling, topped with sweetened cream, chocolate, and even more Mini Eggs is heaven.

"I did also decide to make this cheesecake a little deeper, as I prefer my cheesecake to look delicious in a slice, and not thin or flat. The little swirls of cream on the top, along with some Mini Eggs gives it the delicious flare that I am obsessed with."
