Serena Williams loved her wedding look so much that she jumped at the opportunity to recreate her nuptials once more for the February issue of Brides.

Not one to be outstaged, the tennis champion chose two looks for her big day. The first gown Williams donned was a heavily-embroidered dress by Versace finished with a show-stopping feather cape.

While the second look was a fairytale number by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen accessorised with another sheer, (beautifully bejewelled) shall.

In an Instagram post, the tennis player wrote: “I still am hoping someone invents a time machine so I can relive the wedding. (And eat the beignets) thank you @bridesmagazine.”

The 36-year-old also took the opportunity to thank Donatella Versace for creating her wedding aesthetic, as she said: “This @donatella_versace @versace_official was a dream come true. The cape- well I needed a cape. My two dresses was the best dress I’ve ever worn [sic].”

Her Beauty and the Beast-themed wedding to business mogul Alexis Ohanian was a star-studded affair, as the likes of Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé watched on from the crowds.

The couple’s four-month-old daughter also attended the New Orleans-based nuptials, as Alexis Olympia was carried down the aisle by Williams’ mum.
