Sephora Commemorates the Lunar New Year With Free 13-Piece Sample Set Featuring Prada and Marc Jacobs Perfume, Skin Care Must-Haves and More
Sephora joins a string of retailers and brands commemorating the Lunar New Year with an exclusive deal. The French multinational retailer of beauty and skin care products celebrates the Lunar New Year with a sample set of must-have beauty items from fragrances to skin care, makeup and more.
Through Sephora’s Lunar New Year celebrations, the retailer offers a free trial-size set with any merchandise purchase of $68 or more. The offer is available via Sephora’s official website, but not available in Sephora at Kohl’s stores, Kohl’s official website, Instacart, or at Instagram checkout. To redeem online, shoppers can enter the promotional code Lunarset at checkout.

The sample size set of products Sephora offers as part of their Lunar New Year celebration include designer fragrances, including a Paradoxe Eau de Parfum courtesy of Prada and Perfect Elixir Eau de Parfum by Marc Jacobs. At their largest available size, both perfumes retail for $165. But with the sample set, a small iteration of the fragrance is free.
Products available as part of the sample set go beyond fragrance and delve into makeup, beauty and skin care essentials. The Sephora Collection shape and set eyebrow gel comes in the sample set, along with the Saie’s slip tint lightweight tinted moisturizer.
Skin care essentials include the Sulwahsoo antiaging serum and Kiehl’s moisturizer, among other products.
Sephora joins brands and design houses like McQueen, Tory Burch and more celebrating the Lunar New Year with new designs and deals. McQueen, for example, debuted pieces from its forthcoming pre-spring collection with a Lunar New Year-themed campaign.
Lunar New Year commemorates and honors the beginning of the new year. This year, Chinese Lunar New Year begins on Jan. 29. It is the year of the snake, symbolizing transformation and wisdom.
