Selena Gomez reveals exciting news about her new Rare Beauty collection - and we want everything in it
Selena Gomez just dropped news that will give beauty lovers a New Year’s boost. The Lose You to Love Me singer’s Rare Beauty will launch a new spring collection Thursday called Stay Vulnerable.
So, if your New Year’s resolutions list includes cleaning out old beauty products, here’s a chance to replace them with a new set of fantastic ones.

“I’m excited to share my NEW @RareBeauty Stay Vulnerable Collection with you!,” Selena shared on Instagram Wednesday. The new collections features three new Rare Beauty products: Stay Vlunerable Glossy Balm, Stay Vulnerable Liquid Eye Shadow, and Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush.

The balm, eye shadow, and blush all come in the same five shades - Nearly Apricot, Nearly Rose, Nearly Neutral, Nearly Mauve, and Nearly Berry to make it easier to mix and match them all.

The hues provide pops of color, making it perfect for beauty buffs who love a natural face and a minimalistic makeup palette. “5 shades for effortless matching for eyes, cheeks, and lips. As for what Rare Beauty fans can expect from the collection, the brand describes its new ultra-shiny lip balm “like a lip mask in a gloss.” It cushions and nourishes lips without the stickiness found in some balms that can dry out lips.

The brand’s “quick-and-easy” creamy eyeshadow goes from liquid to powder in seconds for a soft, seamless look.

Meanwhile, the liquid-like cream blush melts into skin to provide a natural-looking flush. You can apply it with your fingers or a brursh.

Selena is on a quest to not only push products out into the beauty space that she’s passionate about but to also promote self love while she’s at it. Hence, the name of the new collection. “Everything that we do encourages you to wear makeup however you want while letting your uniqueness shine through,” Selena told Vogue.
The Behaving Badly star even did her own makeup for the shoot for the Stay Vulnerable campaign, telling the mag, “I wanted to do my own makeup for the shoot,” explains Gomez. “I wanted to capture the soft, flushed look we get when we feel the most vulnerable, and I wanted the images to capture that essence.”
