See Meryl Streep in new trailer for Only Murders in the Building season 3
Only Murders in the Building has just lifted the veil on the season 3 trailer, showing us the impressive cast joining Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin for another round of mystery.
Paul Rudd featured in the closing minutes of the season 2 finale, which jumped ahead in time a year to introduce us to his character. He's an actor named Ben who is starring in Oliver's newest play... or he would have, if he didn't drop dead on stage.
The season 3 trailer shows us that we'll be treated to the before and after of his death, also revealing that there's a lot of animosity between the cast of Oliver's play. Specifically between Ben and Loretta we might add, played by none other than the legendary Meryl Streep.
Grey's Anatomy's Jesse Williams also joins the show as a young man who starts his own investigation with Gomez's character Mabel. By the looks of things, he might be a bit of a love interest for her.
Also along for the season 3 ride is Emily in Paris star Ashley Park, who we also get a sneak peek at in the trailer.
Meanwhile, Michael Cyril Creighton's fan-favourite character Howard Morris has been bumped up to a series regular, while Difficult People's Jackie Hoffman is back as Uma Heller.
We're going to have to wait and find out to see if the show has cast Meryl Streep as the killer, but it turns out that the iconic actress herself didn't even know if she was the one to bump off Paul Rudd or not.
The show's boss John Hoffman told Deadline: "Throughout out the season, we keep the scripts pretty tight, even with our main cast. I loved watching Meryl be attuned to that and come to that in some way throughout season 3.
"She kept on wondering, 'Am I going to die? Am I going to be the murderer?' She had to know what was coming up next, it was funny."
Only Murders in the Building show airs on Disney+ in the UK.
