Sarah Michelle Gellar Wore a Sparkling Silver Gown With Sleeves That Double as Bracelets

The iconic actress appeared at the 35th annual Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is sparkling. The actress, 46, stepped out in a stunning silver party dress at Sunday’s 35th annual Producers' Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

The actress’s strapless gown had an almost invisible sheer beige mesh top, which revealed the front of Gellar’s arms and created an optical illusion that her sleeves were actually bracelets from the front. In fact, the gown's sleeves covered the back of her arms only, ending in a unique cuff-like design at both wrists.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star paired the shimmering look with a black Carolina Herrera clutch and shining silver heels, a Simon G diamond ring, and various other rings. She wore a series of small silver earrings in her ears and a muted makeup look with a lightly smoky eye and a pretty, peachy lip. Her highlighted hair was parted in the middle and pulled back, with a few loose face-framing tendrils in front.

Gellar's X account currently describes her as a crafter for Foodstirs Junk-Free Bakery, as well as an activist, entrepreneur, and New York ex-pat (she now dwells in L.A.). She returned to acting last year with her Paramount+ show Wolf Pack after taking off a decade to raise her two kids with actor Freddie Prinze Jr.

The actress has been married to Freddie since 2002, after their accidental first date in January 2000. “We had a long car ride and a long dinner, and things just happened," Sarah told People about their first date (which occurred after a mutual friend canceled a dinner plan to meet up with both of them).
