Sarah Michelle Gellar Dons Cutouts in Christian Siriano Dress, Jessel Taank Wears Zimmermann and Other Stars at Evan Ross Katz’s Chaos Dinner
Threads by Instagram and influencer and writer Evan Ross Katz held a Friendsgiving dinner on Wednesday in Los Angeles, bringing together notable names in pop culture at the home of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Crystal Kung Minkoff. The star-studded affair featured guests ranging from Sarah Michelle Gellar to Kathy Hilton, who all came together for what was titled the Chaos Dinner.
The idea came from a conversation with Michael Hoffman, public figure programs lead at Meta, the parent company of Threads, Instagram and Facebook. Hoffman suggested Katz hold a dinner of pop culture influencers inspired by “The Last Supper” season two finale episode of Max’s hit series “And Just Like That,” the reboot of “Sex and the City.” As the episode title suggests, main character Carrie’s friends all come together in style for a final dinner in the apartment she’s had the whole series before she moves.

WWD takes a closer look at some of the style moments at the Chaos Dinner.
Crystal Kung Minkoff
Crystal Kung Minkoff, who loaned her house for the event, wore a head-to-toe black ensemble, including a black dress with a fringe trim skirt from Hervé Leger and a black satin lapel blazer that she borrowed from her husband Rob Minkoff’s closet, according to an Instagram post she made. To create her look for the event, she worked with stylist Andrea Lubin, best known for her blog Andrea’s Lookbook.
Sarah Michelle Gellar
Sarah Michelle Gellar adopted the cutout trend in an asymmetrical shoulder strap dress with cutouts on the bodice and a thigh-high slit from Christian Siriano. She coordinated her dress with pointy-toe black heels. For accessories, she wore statement earrings that contrasted with the minimalist approach of the rest of the ensemble.
Jessel Taank
“Real Housewives of New York” star Jessel Taank channeled golden award inspiration wearing a gold off-the-shoulder ruched dress with statement sleeves from Zimmermann. She accessorized the dress with gold statement earrings from Demarson.
Madison LeCroy
“Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy channeled Barbiecore inspiration wearing a Swarovski Crystal-encrusted pink minidress from Area. She coordinated the dress with pink statement earrings and clear plastic heels with silver metallic ankle straps.
Jack Falahee
“How to Get Away With Murder” star Jack Falahee arrived at the Chaos Dinner taking a minimalist approach to style. The actor wore a white ribbed neckline sweater underneath a taupe 3.1 Phillip Lim trench coat, black Levi’s jeans and glossy black shoes from Rodeo the Label.
