Sara Davies to host exciting new ITV quiz show
Sara Davies has revealed she will host a brand new quiz show coming soon to ITV. Titled Time is Money, the series will join the broadcaster's afternoon schedule later this year.
In a post on Instagram, the Dragons' Den star and craft entrepreneur said she was "super excited" to share the news with her fans.
"Well the news is finally out! I’ve been dying to tell you all for ages but I’m super excited to be hosting @itv ‘s latest big daytime quiz-show – Time is Money!" Sara wrote. "Having the opportunity to host a big quiz show has been a bucket list aspiration of mine for some time, and when the ITV team approached me to tell me about their new show format I was instantly hooked!"
The TV presenter added, "I can honestly tell you it's proper 'edge of your seat' type stuff".
ITV said the new show will offer "a unique twist". The contestants will start with their prize money but must compete against the clock to keep hold of it. Each time they fail to answer a question correctly, the prize money is reduced.
Sara confirmed that filming is due to start in a few weeks and added that ITV is looking for contestants to join the show.
