Santa Clause actor slammed by co-star as 'so f***ing rude' on set
Casey Wilson, who stars in the Disney+ series, The Santa Clauses, has spoken out about her experiences working alongside the Golden Globe winner Tim Allen. In an episode of her podcast, Bitch Sesh, which she co hosts alongside fellow actor and comedian Danielle Schneider, the 43 year old revealed all. Particularly taking the time to call out Tim's behaviour on set, who she branded as "so f*****g rude." Tim appeared in the film franchise The Santa Claus from 1994 to 2006 as Scott Calvin, a marketing director who "inadvertently makes Santa fall off his roof on Christmas Eve," and "finds himself magically recruited to take his place."
The Santa Clauses is the TV sequel to the films, and since 2022, the 70 year old has resumed his role as Calvin/Santa. In terms of Casey's role in the series, the former Saturday Night Live comedian played the adult version of Sara, who fans will remember as the young girl Tim's character first encountered as Santa in the original film. However, while chatting on her podcast episode, Casey shared that the filming process wasn't all fun and games, as she labelled Tim as one of the worst actors she's ever worked with. "Worst, truly single worst experience I've ever had with a costar ever," she said.
Further on in the podcast, Casey explained that in one of her scenes with Tim, she was supposed to become startled as Santa comes down the chimney.

Adding that her character was meant "to throw things at him" thinking he was an intruder, Casey said that it was written to appear like a "home invasion scene." According to Casey, Tim wasn't enamoured with her performance and reportedly instructed a producer to tell her to "stop stepping" on his lines.
"The producer turns to me with horror on his face and has to walk one foot to me and he goes, 'Tim would ask that you stopped stepping on his lines,'" Casey continued.
Elsewhere, the 43 year old comedian claimed that after filming, not only was Tim incredibly rude to her, but everyone on set was "walking on eggshells" around him. Plus, that he "never made eye contact" or "said anything" to her. "It was so uncomfortable," she recalled.
Having starred in the trilogy’s three instalments, viewers will be familiar with Tim’s role as divorced dad Scott Calvin who is forced to save Christmas after accidentally killing Father Christmas.
With the first The Santa Clause film premiering back in 1994, the 2022 comes nearly 30 years after the trilogy made its on screen debut.
