Rylan 'spiralled completely out of control' after collapse of marriage
Rylan Clark has said he “spiralled out of control” after his marriage broke down and that he went to a place where “nothing mattered” to him.The former X Factor star and his hubby Dan Neal split up last year, following six years of marriage.

RYLAN CLARK: And then one day, just knowledge and knowing you're not crazy is the best way to put it, snapped me out of it. And when I knew, I knew there was a reason why I woke up that morning and said what I said. And now I've got my answers.
- And did you come to that conclusion yourself or is that with the help of others?
RYLAN CLARK: It was sort of an amalgamation of, it wasn't myself, I couldn't help myself at all. I couldn't dress, I couldn't eat. I went down to 9 stone. I'm 6-foot-4. It was disgusting the state that I got in.
But yeah, when you start to hear things and know things, just knowledge is power. I know it sounds crazy, but it really, really is power. And the fact that I now know that I wasn't going mad, I wasn't crazy, woke me up.
