Box office-breaker, billion dollar-maker, hit creator. There's a litany of job titles that Taylor Swift can lay claim to, but none of her official monikers include her most unofficial role of all; that of nanny to her best friend Blake Lively's children.

Ryan Reynolds, Lively's husband, made a joke about Swift's 'cost-prohibitive' childcare costs during an E! News interview with Hugh Jackman, as the actor admitted that the 14-time Grammy winner is his family’s 'nanny', Reynolds replied: 'The cost of that is…'

'I believe the accountant said "Cost-prohibitive,"' the Ghosted actor continued. 'But I think what he meant was, "Cost-insane-what-are-you-doing-I’m-no-longer-your-accountant."'

Reynolds and Lively, who have been married since 2012, have been close friends with Swift for nearly a decade. Most recently, the couple were spotted singing along and snapping selfies at the 'Anti-Hero' singer’s Eras Tour stop in Madrid, Spain, in May.

Lively was seen holding her four-year-old daughter Betty in her arms, while her two eldest children, James and Ines, stood in front of their dad. It's not the first time that Swift has shown her love for their children in her music. The singer-songwriter used James' voice on her 2017 album Reputation, in which the then-two-year-old can be heard saying the word 'gorgeous' in the opening of the song, 'Gorgeous'.
