Ruth Wilson declares camel coat season open – by wearing nothing else
Ruth Wilson has declared camel coat season officially open for autumn/winter 2024, after she attended Loewe's SS25 show at Paris Fashion Week having styled hers as a dress.
The actress arrived looking suitably chic in a floor-length fishtail coat by the Spanish luxury fashion house, which she put centre stage by wearing buttoned-up with only cat-eye sunglasses and metallic silver heels as accessories.
Wilson, whose auburn hair was styled into a slicked-back low bun, appeared to be wearing nothing underneath her coat, allowing its oversized lapels to fall slightly off her shoulders. Her lack of jewellery added a striking dimension to her look, and she kept her makeup similarly minimalist.
The star can currently be seen playing former BBC newsreader Emily Maitlis in A Very Royal Scandal, Prime Video's take on her shocking 2019 interview with Prince Andrew, played by Michael Sheen.
Elsewhere, further fashion highlights from the French capital have so far included Sienna Miller sitting front row with Vogue's Anna Wintour for Chloé's catwalk, embracing her signature boho style with a Seventies-inspired, pastel-toned outfit; and Kate Moss mastering the sheer trend by balancing her black tulle dress with a crushed velvet blazer at Saint Laurent's showcase.
Paris Fashion Week continues until Tuesday 1 October, with Victoria Beckham gearing up for her show this evening (Friday 27 September).
