Watch: Ruth Langsford discusses Loose Women 'feud' rumours

Ruth Langsford has denied rumours that the Loose Women hosts are locked in a feud with each other.

Rumours of a rift between the various hosts began circulating earlier this year after Coleen Nolan's agent branded Nadia Sawalha a 'witch' on social media though ITV denied that the hosts weren't getting along.

Appearing on Lorraine, Langsford discussed the dynamic between the Loose Women ladies.

She said: "We have some heated discussions. But we don’t fall out, somehow people just love to pit women against women, don’t they.

Langsford added: "We’re such a diverse group of women, different age groups, different views and different opinions on things. So many times I go on that show, I think one thing and by the end of the discussion I’ve changed my mind."

Frankie Bridge, who joined the chat show in 2021, has previously discussed feeling apprehensive about agreeing to appear on the show because of the feud rumours.

She said to Fabulous: "When I first went on the show, I was nervous because I’ve read about all these feuds. I think it’s sad that this doesn’t happen on something like A League Of Their Own with a group of men. It’s just not mentioned."

Bridge added: "I get on [with everyone]. There’s not one person that I would say, 'don’t put me on with them.' Even during a heated debate on the show, during the break everyone’s fine. So I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I’ve just never experienced it. I get on really well with Coleen."

Loose Women is currently presented on rotation by Langsford, Charlene White, Kaye Adams and Christine Lampard. The show includes regular panellits such as Bridge, Nolan, Janet Street-Porter, Denise Welch and Stacey Solomon.
