Ruth Langsford dances away divorce woes on TV show amid Eamonn Holmes split

Despite going through some tough times in her personal life, Ruth Langsford was all smiles as she appeared on QVC with co-star Jackie Kabler. The Loose Women host danced away her divorce woes alongside Jackie, with the duo joking around as they advertised their clothing ranges.

Ruth, 64, looked happy and carefree as she twirled around and laughed with her colleague. Sharing a clip of the moment to Instagram, Jackie said: "When your producer asks you to model your jackets and this is your best effort. We are ridiculous @ruthlangsford. (and models, your jobs are safe)."

Ruth reacted with a laughing emoji and jokingly posted: "Royal Ballet for us next!!"

It comes after Ruth announced she and husband Eamonn Holmes are set to divorce after 14 years of marriage. The pair, who previously hosted ITV's This Morning, have been together for over two decades and are parents to son Jack, 22.

While Eamonn, 64, has spoken out about their split on his GB News show, Ruth has kept her cards close to her chest and is yet to publicly address the break up. According to a source, Ruth's tight-lipped approach to the ongoing gossip could be the best "revenge" Ruth has on 'haters' as it allows her to keep her head held high.

"Splitting from Eamonn is one of the hardest things Ruth has had to go through and it wasn’t an easy choice – she had wanted them to grow old together and was determined that Jack wouldn’t have divorced parents," the source told OK!

They added: "Ruth has strong friends around her and she is just throwing herself into work at the moment and feels she can walk around with her head held high and at that moment that’s her best form of revenge. That’s not to say she won’t ever talk about it but she’s not ready at all at the moment and when she does, it will be done with dignity to protect all of those involved."

Ruth is also becoming tired of people talking about not only her marriage but also the ins-and-outs of the breakdown of it. The source added: "She hopes to stay on good terms with Eamonn as they have good memories together. But the gossip has been tough on her."
