Royals Off-Duty: Duchess Of Cambridge Dresses Down For Day Out With Kids

It’s not often that we see the Duchess of Cambridge dressed down and off-duty.

She’s usually made up, not a hair out of place and wearing a lust-worthy designer/high street ensemble. And while there’s no denying she looks wonderful all glammed up, it’s refreshing to see the mum-of-two wearing clothes that she feels comfortable in and hanging out with her children - like any ‘normal’ mother.

That’s exactly what Kate was up to yesterday, during a family day out to the races. The Duchess, accompanied by Prince William and a couple of friends, took her two youngsters to the Houghton International Horse Trials at King’s Lynn for a day of horsing around in the Norfolk countryside.

For the outing, the 34-year-old looked casual and at ease in her get-up - the kind that she would no doubt rock while pottering around Anmer Hall. She wore a striped Breton top, paired with grey skinny jeans and Wellington boots from one of her favourite French labels, Le Chameau.

Kate kept her hair off her face with a leopard print hairband and the only jewellery she wore was her iconic engagement ring.

The children looked equally as country chic. Prince George matched his mum in a striped crew neck £13 jumper from Next, which he wore over a pale blue polo neck and with navy blue shorts.

Meanwhile Charlotte rocked a blue cardigan and matching bow. Naturally, she looked adorable.
