Channel 4 has announced its line-up of presenters for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

The Paralympic Games kicks off with the Opening Ceremony on 28 August, and as the official UK broadcaster of the Paralympic Games, Channel 4 has revealed that actress Rose Ayling-Ellis will make her live presenting debut at the Games this year.

The former EastEnders star will present alongside sports presenter great Clare Balding from inside the Athletes' Village, where they'll be sharing all the latest action and insider knowledge from across the 12-day event, while five-time Paralympic swimming champion Ellie Simmonds will also be making her Channel 4 presenting debut in Paris this year.

Rose caught the attention - and hearts - of the nation when she became the first deaf contestant to compete on Strictly Come Dancing, going on to win the series with her dancing partner Giovanni Pernice.

Rounding out the rest of the team of presenters, pundits, reporters and commentators is returning Paralympics presenter Ade Adepitan, racing-driver-turned-commentator Billy Monger, Invictus Games medallist and presenter JJ Chalmers, adventurer and former rugby union player Ed Jackson, TV and radio presenter Vick Hope, comedian Josh Pugh and sports presenter Lee McKenzie.

A mix of young and emerging talent will be reporting from across the French capital, including content creator and comedian Fats Timbo, ex-rugby player and Gladiators’ ‘Fury’ Jodie Ounsley, Paralympic gold-medal swimmer Ellie Robinson, award-winning actor Lenny Rush, content creator Milly Pickles, wheelchair basketball player Gaz Choudhry, sports reporter Jordan Jarrett-Bryan and actor and star of Netflix’s Sex Education, George Robinson.

Meanwhile, expert analysis will be provided by multi-Paralympic medallist Baroness Tanni Grey Thompson, the most decorated Paralympian of all time Dame Sarah Storey, Paralympic gold-medal sprinter Libby Clegg, former ParalympicsGB wheelchair rugby captain Steve Brown, Paralympic gold-medal athlete Danny Crates and wheelchair tennis players Louise Hunt and Jayant Mistry.

Finally, Channel 4's The Last Leg will be picking up the torch in the evenings, as Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdecombe give their unique and comedic take on the days events live from Paris.
