Robert Sheehan on what will happen to Klaus in The Umbrella Academy s4

Robert Sheehan, who plays Klaus in The Umbrella Academy, has revealed his predictions for his character in season four, following *that* twist in season three.

*Spoilers* People who have binge-watched season three of The Umbrella Academy will know Reginald (Colm Feore) had decided to adopt new children with superhero abilities, The Sparrow Academy. The final episode saw the surviving members of both academies in a new timeline where their powers don't work.

As a result, Sheehan predicts the finale may send Klaus back to his self-destructive ways, as he struggles to come to terms with the loss of his powers (he had the ability to communicate with spirits/ those who are in the afterlife.)

"You can be damn sure that at the start of season 4 — if we get one, God bless — he'll be going back to those very destructive sorts of self-piteous mindsets," the actor told The Wrap. "I think it'd be like, 'You know what, screw it. I did all this work for nothing,' and that narrative really reestablished itself in his head.

"So he'll have to, I suppose just find a way to love himself in absence of the power. That'll be the next challenge for Klaus, I think."

Viewers have seen Klaus struggle with alcohol and drug abuse in previous seasons, and while a season four hasn't yet been confirmed, fans are hopeful they might know more soon.
