Rob Lowe recalls being knocked out by Tom Cruise
The duo worked together on Francis Ford Coppola's The Outsiders when Rob was 17 and Tom was 19 and it seems things got boisterous. Speaking to The Rich Eisen Show, Rob, now 60, recalled, "(Tom is) so competitive that we used to box in the hallway of the hotel we were staying at during Outsiders.” "So much testosterone. We're 18-year-old guys stuck on location. So we would have headgear, and we'd have mouthpieces in, but we would legitimately spar."
