Rio Ferdinand and wife Kate wear matching outfits as they show off £4m mansion's festive decorations
Kate and Rio Ferdinand appear all set for the week of festivities as they shared some gorgeous Christmas snaps to Instagram this weekend. In a new picture, the married couple are seen donning matching navy pyjamas adorned with trees and santa clause faces. Wrapping his arms around Kate, who was sat on his knee, Rio could be seen beaming for the camera as they kicked back in their living room.
And in the background of the picture are the couple's festive decorations - including an opulent Christmas tree filled to the brim with gold, rose gold and champagne baubles. In the post, which Kate captioned 'A fun few weeks', the former TOWIE star also shared a myriad of other pictures.
One gave a glimpse of the festive decorations on the front door of their London home, which is thought to be worth around £4M. The double door is sandwiched in between two traditional Christmas trees, while a giant matching bauble garland runs over the top of the door, which is finished off by two identical wreaths.

It's no wonder Kate and Rio have such extravagant Christmas decorations, as their home is just as impressive. The family of seven live together in a sprawling £4 million mansion in Bromley, Greater London, boasting its own large gym, outdoor swimming pool and enormous dressing room.
Kate and Rio share two children; Cree, four, and Shae, who was born last year, while she is stepmum to Rio's three children; Lorenz, 18, Tate, 15, and Tia, 13. The children are ready for Christmas too, as Cree and Shae were seen in matching pyjamas, while Kate matched with Tia in another picture as they both wore chocolate brown loungewear sets.
Back in September, Rio and Kate celebrated five years of marriage, with the latter sharing a gushing tribute to mark the occasion. She wrote to Instagram: "5 years today My best friend Completely obsessed with us". The couple said 'I do' in a dreamy oceanside ceremony in Marmaris, Turkey, in 2020, surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
The former professional footballer Rio said at the time of their wedding, that “fate” had brought Kate, 33, into his life as the pair posed for photos in the Turkish sun. On the big day he told OK!: “I definitely wasn’t looking for someone at that time. I didn’t think it was possible, I wasn’t open to bringing someone in to become a stepmum to the kids. Things don’t always go the way you imagine. Meeting Kate changed everything and sometimes it’s just fate.
"I knew Kate was special from the moment I met her, it was pretty instant, but seeing her with the kids cemented everything, that was a huge part of it for me.”
