Rihanna Made A Jacquemus Robe Look Glamorous During London Fashion Week

Rihanna graced New York Fashion Week with her presence, then hopped across the pond to spend a little time in London during the city’s own fashion week. As part of the celebrations, the singer held a launch party for Fenty Hair at Selfridges last night.

For the event, she gave the classic terry cloth bathrobe look a glow-up, wearing a Jacquemus dress made from recycled feathers with a dramatic off-the-shoulder neckline. She accessorised with gold heels and statement earrings. For glam, she wore her hair parted to the side and styled in old Hollywood waves.

Rihanna’s London appearance comes after she wore a nude vintage John Galliano dress from the AW97 collection with a Rosamosario body corset to attend the Daily Front Row Fashion Awards in New York on September 6. She added a fuzzy pink Alaïa coat for good measure.

The billionaire entrepreneur and artist launched Fenty Hair in the U.S. earlier this summer. Her longtime hair stylist, Yusef, told ELLE.com at the time that Rihanna didn’t rush developing the products. She spent over two years perfecting everything.

'As a professional working with celebrities, I think she really took her time and made sure it not only worked for her, but she was involved with everybody—[including] lab,' Yusef said. 'I would have to bring her pictures of people I used the products on. She was super involved from beginning to end.'
