Poland has the highest expectations for penis size while the UK’s are comparatively low.
The folks down at Dr Ed recently surveyed thousands of men and women in Europe and America to find out if penis length really matters. Subjects were asked what they think the average penis length is along with what they perceive an ideal length to be.
It doesn’t appear that penis girth was factored into the study. There’s zero mention of it. Zilch. Nada.

The study revealed women reckon the average penis length is 13.8cm while men think it’s 14.1cm. Not too far off the actual average (erect) length which is 13.2cm (5.16 inches).
In terms of ideal size, the women went 2cm bigger than their average estimate while the men evaluated themselves more harshly, believing the ideal penis to be 2.5cm longer.

The study revealed huge variations in ideas of average and optimal penis size around the world with Poland holding the highest estimate of average length at 15.7cm (6.18 inches).
Poland, Austria, Italy and the US had the highest expectations when it came to their ideal penis length at around 17cm (around 6.7 inches).

The UK came in at the lowest for both perceived average and ideal length at 12.4cm/14.2cm (around 4.9/5.5 inches).
One thing that was common among the studied countries was that ideals consistently outpaced perceptions of typical size.

The study asked men from 4 age groups to rate their satisfaction with the size of their genitals. Only 10.3% said they were dissatisfied and 1.3% very dissatisfied.
Levels of dissatisfaction appeared to decline more significantly with age with only 7.7% of men aged 45 and over reporting feeling discontented with the size of their penis.
DrEd suggested: “It’s possible that young men may have plenty of exposure to popular misconceptions about penis size and its relevance to sex, and less life experience that would indicate otherwise – experience that they may acquire as they age and have more opportunities to learn that size may be less important than they once believed.”

According to DrEd there were links between men’s size anxiety and what their partners might think. To grasp how realistic these worries were the women in the study were asked to rate how much they valued penis size.
Two thirds of women, 67.4% said size is somewhat important “not of overriding significance or major concern”. 21.4% (more than 1 in 5) said it wasn’t important at all and only 11.2% thought size was very important.
All nations may wish to consider that the average woman’s vagina is 3.7 to 4.1 inches deep when sexually aroused. JUST SAYING.
