It's been almost nine years since we last welcomed Bridget Jones to our screens, but now, Helen Fielding's iconic character is finally back in our lives.

Renée Zellweger attended the premiere of Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, the fourth instalment in the British romantic comedy series, in Paris on Monday (27 January), ahead of the film's Valentine's Day release on 14 February.

The star wore a striking, off-the-shoulder, sheer lace gown by Saint Laurent for the occasion. The design featured a scalloped neckline and a dramatic side split, which revealed a glimpse of the ultimate red-carpet footwear – a pair of sky-high black heels.

To finish her glamorous look, Zellweger kept her hair and makeup fuss-free, with a low ponytail secured by a black ribbon and a chic nude lip colour.
Zellweger was joined at the premiere by her co-star Hugh Grant, who is returning as Daniel Cleaver in the upcoming film. Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy will also introduce some new faces, including Leo Woodall of The White Lotus and One Day fame, and 12 Years A Slave star Chiwetel Ejiofor, both of whom were also pictured on the red carpet.

So, what's in store from the new film? Well, an exciting trailer shared in November last year shows Zellweger's character juggling life as a widowed single mum to her two young children, following the death of Colin Firth's Mark Darcy, and embracing dating again with a younger man. We can't wait to watch.
