Recreate Jennifer Lawrence’s Stunning Red Carpet Make Up Yourself #mylittlebigvictory

We spoke to the stylists at Nicky Clarke and cruelty-free make-up artist Justine Jenkins to discover how we could re-create J-Law’s flawless red carpet beauty look at home.

Jennifer Lawrence Red Carpet Make-Up How-To

1. To prep the skin, I would recommend a brightening moisturizer, such as REN Vita Mineral Daily Supplement Moisturising Cream, It’s fantastic for giving your skin that fresh glow which Jennifer has.

2. You can achieve Jennifer’s creamy complexion by using BareMinerals new BareSkin Foundation.

Using the specially designed brush, buff the foundation into the skin - a little goes a long way. If you want more coverage, keep building.

3. To cover any pimples, use BareMinerals bareMinerals SPF 20 Correcting Concealer.

4. Only powder if absolutely necessary on the T-Zone - BareMinerals Mineral Veil is one of my favourites.

5. The eyes are soft and smouldering, using warm copper colours. Try the Chocolate Bar Palette by Too Faced - it not only has great shades to choose from but smells of chocolate…divine!

6. Define the upper lashes by applying a metallic brown eyeliner pencil such as Smashbox ShadowLiner in Luminous Fig and smudge using a cotton bud or your ring finger.

7. To finish, curl the lashes and apply bareMinerals Lash Domination 10-in-1 Volumizing mascara.

8. To create Jennifer’s hydrated glossy lips, use Liz Earle Signature Lip Colour in Cherry Blosson as a base.

9. Apply Urban Decay Naked Ultra Nourishing lip gloss in Liar over the top to finish the look.

Jennifer Lawrence Red Carpet Hair How-To

1. Create a sweeping side parting diagonal to your mid-brow.

2. Using a clip to separate layers, take sections in the shape of diamonds and start at the face working backwards.

3. Wrap the Nicky Clarke Diamond Shine Pro Salon Styling Wand round each section, working away from the face as you go.

4. Keep the wand horizontal at all times as this will give the look more width.

When you are curling, keep the barrel moving in a circular motion to encourage the wave.

5. After you have curled the whole of your hair, gently brush through the curls with your fingers to soften the look.

6. Fix with hairspray to keep in place and make circular motions on the fringe side of your head to add volume a la Jennifer Lawrence.
