Traditionally, razors have been designed in a one-size-fits-all manner that doesn’t take skin sensitivity into account.
However, this handy product - which is currently £5.49, reduced from £10.99, at Boots - has been made in a way to avoid risk of soreness.
It features less-invasive extra-thin blades, and contains a “unique skin elixir” that’s three times as moisturising as the brand’s original Extra Smooth option.
Speaking to Stylist.co.uk, dermatologist Dr Anita Sturnham explained: “The skin elixir provides a cushion of aloe vera – a great antioxidant that has great soothing properties – so when you shave it not only provides a smooth contour as it glides across skin, but it also helps remove irritation.

“This can upset the skin barrier causing problems such as premature ageing, congestion, dryness.
“Symptoms can also include red patches, sensitive ,irritated, flaky itchy and dull skin.”
Lewis added that pollution “breaks down collagen” meaning there’s a lack of it on public transport which leaves our skin “very stressed”.
This in turn “cuts oxygen supply” to cells meaning they don’t work as “efficiently”.
