Christmas is one of the most jolliest times of the year.
So to mark the festive occasion, why not check your rare coin collection for this Christmas piece? According to TikTok user @CoinCollectingWizard, this special 50p is "increasing dramatically in value", so do you have it?
In the clip, he told his 209,400 followers: "This 50p is worth over £300, save this! This sought-after collective coin is a new edition of a rare Christmas themed design first issued in 2003, inspired by Raymond Briggs.
"The Snowman was first published in 1978, the magical tale of a young boy's snowman coming to life was adapted to a short animated film in 1982 which has become a mainstay of British festive TV schedules."

According to the guru, the 2003 Snowman and James Coyne was the first in a popular series, produced in partnership with Popjoy Mint to mark the 25th anniversary of the original story book. Now it's thought the coin was struck for the 30th anniversary in 2003.
Its design shows James and his snowy companion ready to take on the air in front of some season fur trees. The TikTok user concluded: "The value of this coin has increased dramatically over the years and easily sells for over £300 today."
Meanwhile, the Snowman coin series from the Royal Mint features original designs by the award-winning illustrator and animator Robin Shaw. First published in 1978 and adapted into a film in 1984, The Snowman by Raymond Briggs is now an iconic winter's tale.
Since a clip of the coin, which was minted to celebrate the iconic festive character, it garnered thousands of likes and comments from many avid collectors. One pointed out: "There's a new one in the Christmas calendar." While others claimed to own it.
