Rachel has recently been joined on 'Countdown' by new presenter Anne Robinson and she previously admitted that the long-running Channel 4 show has been "very lively" since Anne began hosting earlier this year.

She said: “It’s been really fun watching Anne very quickly find her feet and seeing the contestants in the new groove with her.

“She’s not shy of asking funny questions and responses ranged from comedy to not looking at her and hoping she doesn’t see them. It's been very lively."

With Susie Dent in Dictionary Corner, Rachel admitted that she has enjoyed the all-female dynamic on the programme.

She said: "Three girls do 'Countdown' – who wouldn’t want to watch?"
