Queen's personal adviser Angela Kelly became her hairdresser during lockdown
The Queen's personal adviser Angela Kelly, who isolated at Windsor Castle with the monarch, has opened up about cutting her hair during lockdown in a new chapter in her book.
The book describes the monarch's experience in the pandemic and gives details of her wardrobe.
Ms Kelly, who has worked for the royals for almost 30 years, was part of the team who isolated with the Queen at Windsor Castle.
There was a slimmed down royal bubble of staff to ensure the Queen was as safe as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Queen tested positive for coronavirus earlier this year, she said it left her feeling very tired and exhausted.
Katya Shipster, Harper Non-Fiction publishing director, said about the book: "It tells the story of the royal bubble as well as the lengths Angela and the royal household went to, to ensure the safety of the monarch."
The book, 'The Other Side Of The Coin: The Queen, The Dresser And The Wardrobe', has been updated to mark the Queen's Jubilee.
It also covers the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral, the first public engagements post-lockdown and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.

The Queen has allowed Ms Kelly to keep her dress style modern, despite her age.
It was Ms Kelly who was behind the glamorous pair of 3D glasses, with Swarovski crystals forming the letter Q on their sides, worn by the Queen during a film demonstration in Canada in 2010.
She once said of her relationship with the Queen: "We are two typical women. We discuss clothes, make-up, jewellery."
She has also opened up about wearing in the Queen's new shoes to ensure they are comfortable for her.
Her other tricks include sewing in extra layers of lining to cushion the crystals in the Queen's back when she wears glamorous dresses.
The book is published by Harper Collins on 12 May.
