The Queen Was Reported To The Police For Not Wearing A Seatbelt
The Queen was reported to the police via 999 after she was seen not wearing her seatbelt.
HRH ruthlessly violated the highway code by not strapping herself in when travelling to Westminster for the State Opening of Parliament on this week. One beady-eyed observer dialed 999 and was directed to the West Yorkshire Police Customer Contact Centre, who shared the following tweet.
999 call received reporting that the Queen isn't wearing a seatbelt. #not999 #notevenwestyorkshire

Tom Donohoe of West Yorkshire Police highlighted the importance of using the 999 service correctly: "I cannot stress enough that the 999 number is for emergencies only."
Under UK law, wearing a seatbelt is compulsory if there is one fitted in the respective vehicle. Those who don't face a fine up to £500.
Gutted, mate.
