Queen Camilla Wraps Up in Green Coat With Bumblebee Brooch for a Significant Outing During Sexual Violence Awareness Week

Queen Camilla favored winter layering during a special plaque unveiling at the new Sexual Assault Referral Centre on Thursday in Exeter, England. The queen consort paid the visit during national Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness Week.

For the occasion, the British royal family member opted for a dark green wrap dress, which she styled over another element of her wardrobe with subtle botanical inspiration. The green coat featured an A-line fit, with long sleeves and a midi hemline.

The coat also include sharp lapels and a sinuous collar. Queen Camilla’s coat featured pockets and included a wrap belt for an added definition to the silhouette. The queen consort wore a pair of black boots with a slight heel to complete her attire for the special visit.

As far as her accessories, Queen Camilla opted for a few statement pieces. The queen consort wore a pair of gold earrings and pinned to the collar of her deep green coat was a bumblebee brooch she’s worn in the past.

Queen Camilla’s extensive jewelry collection, which includes pieces from the late Queen Elizabeth II, features the bumblebee brooch, which includes shimmering detailing on the wings and body. Queen Camilla previously wore the brooch back in March 2024.

The queen consort often takes advantage of such outings as an opportunity to style a brooch from her collection. Among the pieces Queen Camilla has worn in the past, she added her ballerina brooch made by Van Cleef & Arpels to her ensemble during a visit with the English National Ballet in September 2024.

Then, on more sentimental occasion and royal duties, Queen Camilla has added brooches from Queen Elizabeth II’s collection to her wardrobe, including the late monarch’s Cartier sapphire and diamond flower brooches for the Royal Maundy Service last March.
