Prue Leith reveals the Nando’s sauce she loves
Presenter and chef Prue Leith might be most well-known for her delicious bakes and sweet treats from her time as a judge on The Great British Bake-Off. But, did you know that she also has a love for Nando's sauce and air fryers?
That's right, Prue has revealed her foolproof dinner party dish during an exclusive interview in the latest issue of Prima. It features simple ingredients, an easy-to-follow recipe and only requires half an hour of cooking time, yes really!
It's so simple, you can do it to for your next dinner party or cosy night in at home with your loved ones. "It takes about 25 or 30 minutes and I tell you what, it is delicious," Prue shared. Read on to find out exactly how to make Prue's easy, go-to dinner dish.
It takes minimal preparation and ingredients wise, Prue says you need a good quality portions of chicken thighs, a tin of Bold Beans and a bottle of Nando's medium Peri-Peri sauce.
"I like simple food and my latest dinner party dish is portions of skin-on chicken thighs cooked in the air fryer with Nando’s medium Peri-Peri sauce served with slow-cooked Bold Beans mixed with melted butter, crushed garlic and chopped herbs," she revealed.
"I knew the two boys who started Nando's back in South Africa fifty or sixty years ago and their recipe has never changed," The South-African native added. "I only got an air fryer this year and I was sceptical about it, but now I love it."
