The Princess of Wales has made her Christmas debut since receiving her new title, as the royal family returned to their Christmas Day traditions this year.

William and Kate attended a service at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Sandringham yesterday, accompanied by all three of their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – with the youngest of the Wales children making his Christmas debut. They joined the rest of the royal family for the first public Christmas appearance since 2019, after the past two years' cancellation due to the pandemic.

For the engagement, the princess embraced the festive mood in an elegant green Alexander McQueen coat dress, which was cinched at the waist and featured a mock neck, several pockets, and pleated decorations down the torso. She paired the midi-length coat with brown suede heeled boots, black gloves, and a matching wide-brimmed green suede fedora that included a multi-strand bow and sleek feather.

As for jewellery, the royal skipped a necklace and wore an ornate pair of gold chandelier earrings with blue stones. She also carried a small black clutch while holding Prince Louis' hand as they exited the chapel.

Meanwhile, Prince William wore a classic all-navy ensemble, comprised of a long wool coat and suit paired with a white shirt and black shoes. George matched with his father in a navy suit, white shirt, and lighter blue bowtie, while Charlotte wore a sweet maroon coat dress and tights. For his first Christmas walkabout, Louis looked adorable in a navy coat with a fur collar, paired with a short suit and knee-high socks.

The royal family's return to Christmas at Sandringham this year marks several firsts, including the first Christmas without Queen Elizabeth II and the first for King Charles since he ascended the throne. The Wales family (then the Cambridges) have spent the past two years celebrating at Amner Hall, their Norfolk country home.
