Now that summer is reaching its end, Princess Kate is returning to work and showcasing her elegant royal style.
The Princess of Wales has traveled to Marseille, France, for the Rugby World Cup, as part of her duties as patron of the Rugby Football Union. To watch the match between England and Argentina, the royal eschewed the oft-debated "no white after Labor Day" rule in a lovely all-white outfit, comprised of wide-leg trousers, a tucked-in shirt, and a single-breasted blazer by Alexander McQueen, which she previously wore to the Commonwealth Games in August 2022.
She completed the look with a pair of pointed-toe pumps and a leather belt, adding circular diamond earrings and a matching pendant necklace by Mappin & Webb, as well as her sapphire and diamond engagement ring. She also carried a small ivory woven leather bag by Massimo Dutti. As for her glam, Kate wore her hair in casually glamorous curls.
After watching the English team's victory from the VIP box alongside Bill Beaumont, chairman of World Rugby, the princess went back to the locker room to congratulate the players.
Both Prince William and Princess Kate recently returned to work after taking a brief hiatus during their children's summer vacation. On Friday, the couple attended an intimate private service in honor of the one-year anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's death, held at St. Davids Cathedral in Wales. Kate's monochromatic plum look included subtle nod to the late monarch, as she wore pearl drop earrings that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth.
