Princess Kate's impeccable fall wardrobe always looks elegant, rain or shine.

The Princess of Wales traveled to DW Stadium in Wigan, England, today, where she supported the English men's team as they took on Papau New Guinea in the Rugby League World Cup 2022 quarterfinal. For the rainy outing, the royal dressed in several shades of red as a nod to the team's national colors.

Her ensemble was comprised of an ankle-length, double-breasted coat with black buttons, which she layered over a crimson turtleneck, a matching pleated maxi-length skirt, and dark burgundy boots. She carried a large black umbrella to stay dry in the afternoon drizzle, and her accessories included a pair of pearl earrings, her sapphire-and-diamond engagement ring, and a red Remembrance Day poppy pin.

The princess was named royal patron of the Rugby Football Union and Rugby Football League earlier this year, taking over the patronages previously held by Prince Harry. Before the game began, Kate meet the England and Papua New Guinea teams on the pitch. She also participated in a minute of non-silence as part of the tournament's Movember Mental Fitness Match Day, which aims to combat the damaging impact that silence can have on men's mental health.

Kate also met members of the England and Canada Women's Rugby League teams during halftime, following the teams' match. This year's Rugby League World Cup is a historic competition, with the men's, women's, and wheelchair World Cup competitions being staged alongside one another for the first time.

Earlier this week, the stylish royal wore another elegant fall outfit as she joined Prince William, for a visit to The Street, a youth and community center based in Scarborough, England. Her camel monochrome look included a midi-length turtleneck sweater dress, a warm caramel-toned leather belt, and a sandy-colored wool overcoat.

The royal couple also wore another set of red poppy pins—symbols associated with the United Kingdom's Remembrance Day, which falls on November 11. The vibrant flowers honor those in the military who died during conflict.
