Princess Eugenie shares previously unseen royal wedding photograph to mark husband Jack Brooksbank’s birthday
Princess Eugenie has shared a previously unseen picture from her royal wedding to mark her husband’s birthday.
On 12 October 2018, Princess Eugenie, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York, married wine merchant Jack Brooksbank.
The couple wed in a lavish ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, the same location where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were married five months prior.
Princess Eugenie and Mr Brooksbank’s wedding was attended by a host of high-profile guests, including Hollywood A-lister Demi Moore and supermodel Kate Moss.
The bride wore an ivory gown for the ceremony designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, which was created with a low-back design to show her scoliosis scars.
A year and a half on from the glamorous occasion, Princess Eugenie has shared a photograph taken on the day in celebration of Mr Brooksbank’s 33rd birthday.
Posted on her official Instagram account, the black and white picture shows the newlywed couple posing indoors for a photographer, the bride carrying a bouquet of flowers.
Princess Eugenie also shared a second image for her husband’s birthday on Sunday 3 May, showing him walking through a garden, his face turned away from the camera.
“Happy Birthday my love,” Princess Eugenie wrote in the caption for the Instagram post, alongside a heart-eyed emoji.

Princess Eugenie first met Mr Brooksbank during a skiing holiday when she was 20 and he was 24.
The couple announced their engagement in January 2018, becoming engaged while in Nicaragua earlier in the month.
Following their wedding, an exhibition about the occasion was put on at Windsor Castle.
Speaking in a special recording created for exhibition visitors, Princess Eugenie explained why she wanted her wedding gown to show her scoliosis scars, having undergone an eight-hour operation in 2012 to correct the curvature of her spine.
“Part of it was showing my scar and I believe scars tell a story about your past and your future, and it’s a way of getting rid of a taboo,” the 30-year-old said.
The royal added that after the wedding, she received “a lot of letters from people who were happy that I had stood up and showed my scar”.
“I definitely was very touched by everyone’s support,” she said.
