Princess Eugenie was spied at a friend’s wedding in Italy this weekend, looking stunning in a Peter Pilotto dress, the designer who she wore at her own wedding.

In the picture, which has surfaced on social media but not on Eugenie’s official account, the princess can be seen beaming as she attends the wedding of her long-time friends, hotel heiress Irene Forte and her partner Felix Winckler in Italy.

The couple were first married in London last September in a low-key ceremony because of Covid lockdowns. The loved-up duo then had a church wedding in Italy this weekend, where blonde beauty Irene wore a traditional white dress.

It's thought that Irene and Felix attended the wedding of Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank back in 2018.

Eugenie has been busy recently, as along with being mum to her first child August, who was born earlier this year, she has taken part in a programme about the art collection at Buckingham Palace.

Taking to her Instagram page on Wednesday, the royal shared a series of never-before-seen pictures taken during a visit to The Queens Gallery.

The 31-year-old, who studied art history and English literature at Newcastle University, recorded an episode for Sky Arts with art curator Kate Bryan to speak about the Masterpieces from Buckingham Palace exhibition.

"I had the privilege of recording an episode for Sky Arts at Buckingham Palace in The Queens Gallery talking about the magnificent exhibition 'Masterpieces from Buckingham Palace' on view now until 13 February 2022," she wrote.

"I spoke to @katebryan_art all about what art and these artworks in particular mean to me. Tune in tonight at 8pm on Sky Arts to see the show and go see the remarkable exhibition whilst you can. @royalcollectiontrust."
