Princess Charlotte turned seven yesterday, and her mum, the Duchess of Cambridge, marked the occasion with a photoshoot amongst the bluebells in Norfolk.
The trio of images were a way to share with the public just how Charlotte's changed: her beautiful hair (how did Kate get her to brush it?), her lovely, gap-toothed smile, that cute shot with the dog (their new spaniel, Orla)...and, of course, her lovely outfit.
Princess Charlotte wore a high/low mix of high street and designer. In fact, she has worn the 100% cotton polkadot polo top, (£19 from Next for ages three months to seven years) at a public appearance for Father's Day in 2021 with her Dad, Prince William, and her older brother Prince George, 8.
It's a great buy - it comes in a pack of three, which also has a soft pink and classic navy version, too.
Mummy is clearly teaching Charlotte some good habits from an early age.

It's cashmere, it's by Ralph Lauren kids, and at £279 it's more of an investment buy. However, it's a beautiful, luxe piece that will last for years and can be handed down to younger brothers and sisters.
Sadly, the knit is sold out in the blue shade that Charlotte is wearing, but it is available in this pretty pink, pastel yellow, and soft caramel for ages 7-14 in small, medium and large sizes.
