Princess Beatrice is joined by her mum, Sarah Ferguson, at red carpet event
Princess Beatrice and her mother, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, made a rare red carpet appearance together on Tuesday (6 December) as they showed their support for a women's health charity at a gala in London.
The mother and daughter were pictured at an event held at Claridge's hotel for The Lady Garden Foundation, which raises awareness and funding for gynaecological health.
In a particularly touching moment, the pair could be seen smiling together. Beatrice leaned into her mother while Sarah placed an arm around her daughter.
Beatrice, who was also joined by her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi at the event, embraced elegant party season style. She wore a black dress with a metallic floral print teamed with classic court shoes; showcasing a look that's just perfect for upcoming festivities. Her mother, Sarah, paired her statement red military jacket with a floor-length black skirt and looked effortlessly chic.
Beatrice and the Duchess were last seen together in sweet photos shared by Princess Eugenie to mark their mother's birthday in October. The post included several shots of the family and two more outdoorsy portrait photos of the Duchess.
The Lady Garden was founded in 2014 by a group of prominent women including Jenny Halpern Prince, Tamara Beckwith Veroni and Chloe Delevingne. The charity's mission statement reads: "We stand together as daughters, sisters and mothers. We challenge taboos and do away with the ‘private’ in our ‘private parts’. We are loud and we are bold.We are restless and we are relentless."
