Prince William Praises 'Incredible' Kate Middleton On Her Birthday
As Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, celebrates her 43rd birthday today, her husband, Prince William, has shared a touching tribute to his wife with a never-before-seen photograph of her, which was taken by Matt Porteous in Windsor last summer.
Taking to their official Prince and Princess of Wales social media platforms on both Instagram and X, Prince William wrote: 'To the most incredible wife and mother.

'The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine.
'We love you. W'
Earlier in the day, the Royal Family's official social media accounts also wished the Princess of Wales a happy birthday, writing: 'Happy Birthday to The Princess of Wales!' followed by a birthday cake emoji. The tribute was accompanied by a photograph of Kate smiling while attending church in Sandringham on Christmas Day.
Kate fleetingly made her return to public duties in June 2024 at Trooping the Colour with William and their three children. The princess has remained largely out of the spotlight since the beginning of 2024 after receiving a shock cancer diagnosis after she underwent 'major abdominal surgery' in January at the London Clinic. In March, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer and would be undergoing 'preventative chemotherapy' to treat her condition.
Kate told in an Instagram post in June 2024 how she had been experiencing good days and bad days and was facing a few more months of cancer treatment.
'I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty,' she shared. 'Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.'
