Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey will reunite for another interview following the success of their documentary series, The Me You Can't See.

Harry, 36, and Winfrey, 67, are set to appear in a 'town hall conversation' which will be shown on Apple TV on Friday, 28 May.

The pair will be joined by some of the experts and participants from the series, which started streaming on Apple TV on 21 May, and the special will be called "A Path Forward".

Those who participated will share more about their stories, which could include additional insights from Harry about his mental health.

A post on the Sussexes' Archewell website read: "In The Me You Can’t See: A Path Forward, Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey reunite with participants and experts from the series for a thought-provoking, wide-ranging discussion to build on their initial conversations around mental health and well-being.

"The subjects go deeper into their own stories from the series, the experts share their guidance, and together they begin to answer the critical question: 'Where do we go from here?'"

The Duke of Sussex made more claims about his childhood and how it affected his mental health in the run-up to and during the series, including that he wanted to break a genetic cycle of pain and suffering.

He also allowed cameras to film one of his therapy sessions in which he told of how flying into London brought on anxious feelings because he associated it with returning from a trip to Africa after his mother had died.

Deadline reported that Apple says the five-part series has become its most watched programme on the platform since its launch, and drew in 25% more viewers.

Town hall conversations usually refer to a meeting style similar to events where a local politician will meet residents who live in their voting area.

The style may mean that the participants and experts take questions from Harry, Winfrey, or from people who have watched the series.

In the series, Harry said he had turned to drink and drugs to mask his emotions and accused the Royal Family of total neglect when he wanted help for Meghan, his wife, to adjust to royal life.

He said: "I was willing to drink, I was willing to take drugs, I was willing to try and do the things that made me feel less like I was feeling."

Speaking about the situation with his family when Meghan joined, he said: "Every single ask, request, warning, whatever it is, to stop just got met with total silence or total neglect.

"We spent four years trying to make it work. We did everything that we possibly could to stay there and carry on doing the role and doing the job."

The Me You Can't See is available now on Apple TV.

The special will air for free on Apple TV.
