On the day of the royal wedding in May, the world lusted over Meghan Markle‘s stunning wedding gown and collectively swooned over Prince Harry‘s Blues and Royals suit.
Now, Kensington Palace has revealed that the Duke and Duchess’s now-iconic outfits will go on display to the public as part of an exhibition at Windsor Castle, the location of the magical nuptials.
Tweeting the news, the royal household explained the exhibition – named ‘A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’ – would later take itself to the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh in 2019.

The exhibition will include all parts of the Duchess’s famous wedding dress, designed by British designer Clare Waight Keller, including the veil, embroidered with the flora of the 53 countries of the Commonwealth.
Exhibition-goers will also get the chance to get up close and personal with the diamond and platinum bandeau tiara, lent to Meghan Markle by The Queen.

As for Prince Harry’s wedding day Royals and Blue frockcoat (the uniform of the Household Cavalry), the exhibition will display a replica in place of the real deal, loaned by Harry himself.
This is presumably because Harry still requires his uniform for official engagements.

The exhibition will run from Friday 26th October to Sunday 6th January at Windsor Castle, with adult tickets costing £21.20.
