How Prince George's Education Is Preparing Him To Follow In His Father's Footsteps
At just 11 years old, Prince George is already following in his dad's footsteps by taking flying lessons at White Waltham Airfield. The young prince officially became the youngest ever member of the royal family to learn to fly.
For the royals, being able to fly is a long-held family tradition. The late Prince Charles learned to learn fly at the same airfield back in November of 1952, aged 31. As for his grandsons, Prince Harry and Prince William, they both learned to fly when they enlisted in the military.

William's flying career began at 27, when he began an intensive training programme with the Royal Air Force, whereas Harry embarked on his training during a tour of Afghanistan.
King Charles III officially became a pilot in August 1971, during his second year at Cambridge University when he recieved Royal Air Force training.
As learning how to fly can take anywhere from 12 to 24 months, Prince George could potentially receive his flying license before he turns 13, which would make him the youngest ever royal to not only start his lessons, but also become a pilot.
Earlier this year, he celebrated his eleventh birthday on July 22. To celebrate the occasion, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a picture of their eldest son on Instagram and wished him a happy birthday.
