How to Make Pretzel Pizza Mozzarella Sticks

I’m pretty indecisive. Is it pizza or a mozzarella sticks today? It can be a tough decision. So why not combine the food and experience it all at once? Roll out the pizza dough, grab some sea salt and get ready to make pretzel pizza mozzarella sticks.

 

Prezel Pizza Mozzarella Sticks

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Servings: 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Pillsbury pizza dough

  • 8 mozzarella sticks

  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 1 cup hot water

  • 2 tablespoons baking soda

  • Pepperoni (as much as you want)

  • Sea salt

  • Marinara sauce (optional)

  • Nonstick spray

Directions:

  • Open tube of dough and roll out onto cutting board. Cut into 8 long strips (lengthwise).

  • Place pepperoni onto a slice and wrap the dough around the mozzarella stick. Place on a baking tray sprayed with nonstick spray.

  • In a bowl, combine water and baking soda. Brush the mixture on top of the dough sticks.

  • Sprinkle with sea salt on top. Bake in the over at 450°F for 10 minutes, until golden brown.

  • Brush with melted butter. If you want the extra flair, dip in marinara sauce.
