Dancing On Ice is officially set to return on ITV in January 2024, bringing us some much needed entertainment during those cold winter evenings. We're so ready to curl up on the sofa and watch the newest celebrities take to the ice. But before we start assessing the celebrities' natural ability on the ice, we need to know who will be presenting Dancing On Ice in 2024?
Since Phillip Schofield's resignation from the series in May 2023, following his admission of an 'unwise but not illegal' relationship with a younger male colleague, there's an opportunity for a new host to present alongside Holly Willoughby. So who will be hosting the series? Here's everything we know.
Who is the current host of Dancing On Ice?
Right now, Holly Willoughby is the only known host of Dancing On Ice, having started presenting the series since its first ever series all the way back in 2006.
She had a brief break from hosting the series in 2012 to 2014, and Christine Lampard (formerly known as Christine Bleakley) took over her role alongside Phillip Schofield. Holly returned to the series when it was revived in 2018.
Phillip Schofield has appeared as one of the hosts since the series began in 2006. However he stepped down from the role and all other ITV hosting roles in May this year, when he admitted to an 'unwise but not illegal' relationship with a younger male colleague.
Phillip departing from the role means its likely Holly will have another co-presenter to host the show with.
Who will present Dancing On Ice 2024?
Though not officially confirmed, Holly Willoughby is expected to return to her role as co-presenter on the 2024 series of Dancing On Ice.
According to Sky News, fellow ITV presenter Stephen Mulhern is reportedly rumoured to be joining Holly as the co-presenter.
Stephen previously hosted the show alongside Holly in 2022, after Phillip Schofield tested positive for COVID, with many viewers enjoying seeing Stephen on the series.
ITV has not yet confirmed if Stephen will be taking on the role, telling Sky News in August 2023 an announcement will be made "in due course".
Other rumoured names so far include Marvin and Rochelle Humes, who currently present The Hit List on BBC and Rochelle also appears as a presenter on This Morning.
Given she previously presented the series from 2012 to 2014 Christine Lampard (formerly known as Christine Bleakley) has also been rumoured to be joining Holly.
So far no one has been officially confirmed, so for now we'll be waiting impatiently to find out who the new host of Dancing On Ice is.
