Preparations for the royal wedding are well underway in Windsor

The week is almost over, but unlike most weeks drawing to a close, this one has one hell of a finale.

Prince Harry will marry Meghan Markle at St George’s Chapel in just two days, and while we’re giddy with excitement, it’s nothing compared to the worker-bee activity that’s been taking place in Windsor this week.

The railings are up on the Long Walk and the porto loos are in place, with an estimated 1 million people planning to attend the famous Windsor park this weekend.

Pubs are freshening up their window boxes with personalised messages to the happy couple, while a local boozer has renamed itself ‘The Prince Harry’, for one week only!

The streets are lined with Union Jack flags, shop windows are full of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle memorabilia, and local people are decorating their gardens with bunting in preparation for the big day, with row front seats, from the comfort of their homes.
