Pregnant Laura Woods displays blossoming bump as she prepares to welcome first child with Adam Collard
Pregnant Laura Woods was glowing as she showed off her blossoming baby bump for her hosting duties as England's Lionesses' clashed with the USA on Sunday 30 November. The 37 year old looked stylish as she reported pitch-side at London's Wembley Stadium, wearing a long black dress over her growing baby bump, underneath a long camel coat.
Laura finished off her look with chunky black boots, a gold necklace and her blonde hair down around her shoulders. The sports presenter and her partner, former Love Island star Adam Collard are expecting their first child early next year. The pair got engaged in September, with Adam sharing a series of snaps from the moment he proposed to Laura on Carbis Bay Estate in St Ives, Cornwall.
As well as the sweet photos from the moment he got down on one knee, Adam also shared a series of clips from their time in Cornwall including walks along the beach as well as cosy days in front of the TV. Meanwhile, Laura shared another selection of snaps over on her Instagram page where she announced the news.

Giving fans a peek inside the romantic moment, Adam could be seen getting down on one knee in front of the sea in two of the snaps, while in another TV presenter Laura flashed her stunning ring. Laura captioned the pics with the words: "And just like that... You make me happy @adamcollard Thank you @carbisbayestate - the place we fell in love and now the place we got engaged, you made it so special What a summer x."
Laura and Adam announced they were expecting back in July, with a cute photo of the two of them holding their baby scan picture while their dog looked on, which they captioned with the words, “Hey baby.”
Adam, 28, who made his name on Love Island in 2018, spoke exclusively to OK! in October about his relationship with Laura, who is nine years older than him, and his thoughts about becoming a dad.
“I massively love my family and I’m very close to them – my dad is the youngest of eight brothers – and I would always want that. Dad was my best mate and we did a lot of cool stuff together when I was younger, like going to the football. I want that for my kids as well,” he said.
He also spoke about the couple’s age difference and whether it bothered either of them. “Funnily enough, I had this conversation with my dad before I met Laura,” he said. “I was like, I feel too far in front of my friends because of what I do with work and my responsibilities. I have two gyms, and the online clothing business, and I can’t relate to my friends as much. I spend a lot of time with family and friends who are older than me – and I’m not talking thirties, I’m talking fifties – because I haven’t got much in common with my friends any more, and it’s a hard place to be.”
“So I think maybe that’s what I’ve always been looking for: an older woman. It’s just something that works for me. But also, Laura’s not an “older woman”, because if you meet her and you’re around her… I’ve been out with younger people who don’t act like her! It never came into our heads – it was very easy going from day one.”
