Pregnant Charlotte Crosby majorly increases home security after living 'in fear' following terrifying break-in
Charlotte Crosby has seriously ramped up her security measures after a terrifying break-in at her home by a gang armed with machetes. The Geordie Shore star, who is currently expecting, took to Instagram to share that she now boasts the "best security in the northeast", complete with "man guards, security dogs and 24/7 surveillance".
Charlotte was at home with her two-year-old daughter when the intruders broke into her Sunderland property. She posted on Instagram: "Today's big clean before Christmas by the amazing @b.e.clean. Huge things happening in the house today! "We have had the team down from AWI (asset watch international) I've had all security in the house TREBLED!
"And I now have the BEST security in the northeast with man guards, security dogs and 24/7 hour surveillance. I've been living in fear since last week. Not feeling safe in your own home with small children really is something else. I've been trying my hardest to put what happened out of my head! And I'm sorry for being on here! It's just took some time dealing with everything that's gone on and then I was in hospital (sic)" After the burglary, Charlotte was rushed to hospital due to severe stomach pains.

Her worried fiancé Jake Ankers shared on Instagram: "We are not having a good week! ! ! Now Charlotte has been rushed in to hospital as she is having serious pains in her stomach, they are running all the necessary checks to make sure Charlotte and baby are ok."
"Thank you once again to everyone that reached out about Thursday night, we really do appreciate it! " "Huge love to our community where we live also your support has been fantastic (sic)".
On the same day, Charlotte also broke her silence on her hospital stay, as she revealed her disappointment after experiencing "misfortune after misfortune" this month. Posting to her Instagram stories, the reality TV star penned: "Can't believe all my plans for our huge Black Friday activation have been crippled! As I'm typing this I'm laid in hospital. Baby is all fine thank you for all the messages!
"But I was meant to be at work today! Getting the message out to you all about our HUGE Black Friday celebration! And showing you all the amazing deals we have on! This month has had misfortune after misfortune. I want to thank you all for your kind messages about the break-in the other night. Still something I'm really struggling to come to terms with."
Earlier this year, Charlotte and Jake announced they would be welcoming their second baby girl in early 2025.
